This position is for a Buyer of 3rd party Licensee’s product of our Motorsport partners: Ferrari Scuderia, McLaren Group, AMRBR, Mercedes, Ayrton Senna and Formula 1 Brands. The Buyer will work directly with the external team marketing / licensing functions, product licensees and internal partners to identify categories /products that have commercial and consumer relevance to be sold on our managed web shops.
Build relationships and understanding with all team License partners.
Partner with Commercial and Business planning team to develop effective category plans, pricing strategies, & execute Purchase Orders (PO).
Plan the collections in close contact with the asset and internal Sales team; products, quantities, price levels.
Negotiate with supplier of best price and product value.
Responsible for the data input for Product Line Management (PLM) system for the respective area.
Critical Path Management, including leadtime management, photography and order placements.
Management of delivery requirements with external supplier in close conjunction with Customer services and Ecom team: - Labelling - Packaging - Shipment - Delivery into the warehouse (inbound) - VAS
Internal analysis of sales, price levels, best-selling products and margins.
Responsible for repeat orders.
Management of blank tee process:
Order placement and delivery
Follow up with embellisher in close cooperation with warehouse, ecom and CS team (SO, despatch of product, embellishment, labelling)
Delivery back into the warehouse
Analytical and commercial mindset.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Buying, Merchandising, Planning. Experience in eCommerce.
Strong communication skills.
Experience building statistical and forecasting inventory models.
Self-motivated and has the ability to work on multiple projects efficiently.
Excellent quantitative, written, and presentation skills; innovative, organized, thorough.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint and Word).
