The job:

The Demand Planning team manages the forecasting process of all our products divided over different A-brands. As a Demand Planner, you are responsible for your own brand(s) and you make sure that the collection meets an accurate forecast with optimal availability which is in line with the market strategy. You work closely together with Sales and Product to gather the input needed for the forecast and with Supply Chain to make sure that the forecast can be purchased. You are not only gathering and analyzing forecast data, but you are in the driver’s seat to take decisions based on this information.

You become part of a team of demand planners where each planner manages a different A-brand. As a demand planner you also participate in or lead projects with the goal of optimizing the forecasting process.

We expect you to be a flexible team player with a hands-on mentality. You oversee the end-to-end supply chain and you can point out bottlenecks in interdependent structures. Above all, you have a drive to improve processes and you are not afraid to take decisions.

Responsibilities and tasks:

  • Responsible for forecasting, planning and availability of our products;
  • Gather, analyze and process forecast input from Product and Sales and hand it over to Supply Chain;
  • Analyze and report deviations based on historical data and statistics and take corrective action;
  • Monitor and analyze performance and take initiative to improve KPIs (e.g. forecast accuracy);
  • Support and lead demand planning meetings;
  • Participate in or lead projects with the aim of improving the forecasting process;
  • Proactively liaise between Sales, Supply Chain and Product Management.

What is required?

  • At least a bachelor’s degree in (e.g.) Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline);
  • A maximum of 5 years of working experience, preferably with experience in planning and forecasting in a related environment;
  • Distinctive analytical, planning and commercial skills and a structured way of working;
  • Advanced Excel skills and good knowledge of MS Office in general;
  • Excellent communication and social skills to discuss and explain complex information to audiences with varying knowledge levels;
  • A self-starter with a decent level of drive and determination, able to work as a part of a team;
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written).
