We are looking for a digital-oriented colleague to support and grow our (digital) marketing department. You’ll work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager, our internal content creation team (photography, copywriting) and our B2B e-commerce sales office.
As our Digital Marketplace Manager, you take on the task to set a solid foundation for our - currently still developing – marketplace businesses at the bigger pure e-com platforms. You will focus on performance marketing activities such as CCP/ Sponsored Product campaigns, copy and content optimization including SEO/SEA. You coordinate all proceedings to ensure optimized campaigns and sell-through at these marketplaces for all our brand product categories, always aiming for the best ROAS. You will set-up, oversee and improve all processes keep these marketplaces up and running and to continually optimize results.
Your other responsibility includes working closely together with our copywriter and our third-party agencies to coordinate all e-com copy requests, managing the translations and ensuring optimized copy for your marketplaces such as Amazon.
We also expect you to actively perform analyses and inform your colleagues in consumer marketing with learnings, who in turn will support you with campaign adaptations or creations for these platforms.
Ideally you have experience in marketplace marketing with a ‘customer service’ approach. You also have a clear idea of how to boost performance. Your advanced level English language skills will aid you in managing our copy together with our copywriter and the translation process and coordinating improvements when necessary. And, most importantly, you are curious and quick to adopt any new technology.
Responsibilities and tasks:
Manage our direct to consumer business;
Manage marketplace platforms such as Amazon, Zalando Partner Program, Bol.com marketplace, About You marketplace;
Coordinate and be the first contact person of 3rd party agencies for SEO/SEM and other partners;
Set, design and coordinate campaigns and activities with the marketing team in alignment with the online event calendar;
Optimize web content to increase traffic and improve SEO;
Maintenance of product catalogs on various marketplaces;
Setting up and optimizing advertising campaigns;
Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and evaluate against goals (ROI and KPIs);
Identify trends and insights based on data, and optimize spending and performance based on those insights and data;
Measure, analyze and report consumer insights based on account numbers and information;
Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests;
Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
What is required?
Proven work experience in a comparable position;
Demonstratable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, and/or displaying advertising campaigns;
Experience implementing and optimizing Google Ads campaigns;
In-depth understanding of online marketing tools and platforms;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Native English speaker or advanced proficiency in English is preferred;
Strong analytical skills;
Ideally proven working experience in digital marketing agencies and/or e-commerce accounts and/or marketplaces;
Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement;
Education: HBO/University degree in Marketing or any related field;
3+ years’ experience in B2B/B2C digital marketing and advertising.
